Andalucia's pretty capital, Seville, is not too far from the main resorts in the Costa del Sol and provides a picturesque backdrop for a day trip away from the beach. You'll find an abundance of pavement cafés along the river Guadalquivir where you can quench your thirst while you explore Seville's other exquisite treasures.

Whether you prefer the virtually endless sandy beach of Torremolinos or secluded sandy coves of Nerja, you're sure to want a dip in the sparkling waters to cool off from the burning sunshine. Alternatively why not have a go on the wide range of watersports available at most resorts.
